Taking the Coward perk and/or Tunnel Runner both grant users of light armor differing movement buffs, while the latter also decreases the chance for enemies to score critical hits. Upon completion, you'll get access to a room with various gear in the Outcast bunker. With the right setup, this armor's use can work substantially well for players specializing in light armor and stealth.

While its protective capabilities are limited, the stealth boost it provides is undoubtedly useful to any survivor who wishes to either stay hidden from, or ambush unsuspecting enemies.

Once used by Chinese Crimson Dragoon troops and Black Ghost counter-insurgency/terror units before and during the Great War, such armor is a rarity in the Mojave.
